Located on the bustling Oliver Plunkett Street, J.J. Walsh’s is a traditional Irish pub and one of the most unique venues to be found in Cork city and has fast become the epicentre of Irish music and nightlife in the city.
With origins dating back to 1910, the venue has been lovingly restored to incorporate milestones of Cork history such as The Rising, The Irish Civil War and Cork GAA, featuring some truly unique antiques and artefacts that will transport guests to an Ireland of old.
As you move through the venue, you’ll experience a seamless blending of eras with our hidden art-deco cocktail lounge, boasting the skills of our incredible mixologist in a more relaxed and chic atmosphere.

Our traditional Irish pub hosts live music seven-nights a week in our main bar, along with some really special experiences in our authentic jazz and piano lounge.
